GARBAGE DISPOSAL Holiday Gift Wrapping
In light of the holidays, we wish to remind Residents that holiday gift wrapping is NOT recyclable. Please do not dispose of wrapping paper or other items in the paper recycling.
Residents are reminded to ensure all trash is properly separated and disposed of in the correct bins.
Please be reminded of the following bylaws: Division 16 – Garbage
(2) Ordinary household refuse and garbage will be removed from each Strata Lot by the Owner/Resident and deposited in the garbage receptacles provided for that purpose in the Garbage Room on P1. Any materials other than ordinary household refuse and garbage, such as discarded furniture and unwanted household effects, are the sole responsibility of the Owner/ Resident and will be removed from the Strata Plan at the expense of or by the Owner/Resident. (3) All garbage shall be properly bagged and securely tied in plastic bags before being taken to be placed in the garbage receptacles. Empty cardboard boxes will be collapsed before they are placed into the garbage container specifically for cardboard.
Residents found in contravention may be issued infraction letters and subsequent fines at Council’s discretion.
