Hello everybody, Please put a note in your calendar or on your fridge that this Saturday, Matt Whalen will be back at our Light Trap site at the end of Heather Civic Marina's R dock to give another demo of how this amazing adventure in community science is done. We're planning on a 10 am start, when the trap will be pulled from the water and we'll see what kind of sea critters were lured inside! So here are the details: False Creek Light Trappers Orientation Session #2 Heather Civic Marina, 600 Stamps Landing Saturday, April 23 at 10 am Access: come to the marina security gate between The Wicklow Pub and Mahoney & Sons Restaurant. There's a keypad to the left of the chainlink gate - punch in #100 and let the marina staff know you're present for the event.
